So i just wrapped my OWN headlight rings and tail light rings. That was fun. Haven't had a fun 3 hours like that in a long time. So the tail rings came out ok Butttttt the head rings look like poop close up. Sure from 3 ft away they look cool, but when you get all close you see fingers and bubbles galore. I think I might get them sent off and get Lagston do them? But i don't know yet??? What i really ask my self is what i am going to do on my next day off Joey mod or Belt line (Yes i could do both but what will i do NEXT day off????) Any suggestions?

Sorry, but you wont find them any more. (unless you watch craigs list or the honda sites) it took tooth and nail to get Konig to release the last two wheels they had in the warehouse and that was about a year ago. It's a shame they stoped making these

Wel, crud on a cracker. I have been searching for weeks for something that struck me as "right" for my summer wheels and those hit me like a ton of bricks. I guess I'll keep looking.

Is there anyone else that has smoked/blacked out tail lights on their astro black MINI. wikedgolf's look more blueish and BrandonH's look more redish (in the picture). I'm really interested in getting some but I'm not sure if they'd look weird on a car thats kinda bluish blackish lol.

Agreed---so far I'm not impressed with the look on AB cars. Thinking I'll stick with the chrome for now...

i have tinted film on mine for now - check out my gallery - they are not bluish at all. i am however taking it to a body shop to have them sprayed with a tint of black in clear for a crisper smoked look

I am having problems getting my chrome cover on my gas cap off. There seams to be a hole on the bottom but when i stick little screw drivers in there, nothing ( I think you have to twist it) Any suggestions ? BTW Astro black is a really dumb name for a color that is mostly blue. I think one of these days i am going to attack it with a spray gun full of matte black. Yeah thats going to be cool.

Wrapping the gas cap cover takes a TON of patience. My hands are still cramping from doing that wrap two days ago. Using heat is important.

Open up the gas cap inside on the upper 12 o'clock position of the black inner part you can see a little tab. Put a screwdriver in it and pull it down a little bit. Then turn the cap itself counter clockwise!! Done!

Here are some of before and after pics. Granted I still don't have the beltline on the hood done, and the CF doorhandles on yet. And the before pics are clean and the now are well lets say dirrrty. It has been snowing just about every other day. So I wash and then it's dirty again. I will post better pics once everything is done.
