I could not tell from the configurator whether the JCW options for the R56 are dealer or factory installed. Will the JCW drilled brake rotors be legal for G-Stock? I assume they are if factory installed but may not be if dealer installed.

 

They definitely won't be if they are dealer installed. I configured an 07 Mini yesterday to get a price and I didn't notice the brakes on the factory installed stuff, so, I think it must be dealer installed.

 

Thanks - so the next question is ... are they dealer or factory installed? The JCW aero kit is dealer installed but the brake rotors ???

 

Just answered my own question - the JCW parts are in the Accessories section of the configurator which are all dealer installed. So no drilled rotors for me :(
