I understand we can change brake pads and still remain legal for H stock. And that changing to larger or drilled/slotted disks are not allowed in H stock.

But what about brake fluids?

How about changing from rubber to stainless brake lines?

Fluids and pads are OK for H stock. Changing rotors or changing to stainless lines are not.

Will you be running at Indy region events? My wife and I run an MC in H stock here in Indy. Hope to see you out at the events.

 

I would like to give it a try, but I don't know if it is in this years budget.

I wish that MINICCI could get something organized even if it was a fun event. That way I could try it and see if it was something I wanted to do and persue more agressively.

 

All you need is the entry fee. I think it is $20. The IndySCCA group has loaner helmets. You don't need to do anything to the car, besides add a little air to the tires. You should give it a try. First event is April 2 at the old 16th street stadium lot near downtown. My wife and I just started last summer, and we love it. There are always at least a couple of other MINI's at the events. Let me know if you need any more info. I would be glad to help you get started.

 

I am going to have to come late and check it out. April is my rotation for PowerPoint duity at my church. Still it would be better to come late than never.

BTW is that the old baseball looking stadium east of IMS? I have lived in Avon for almost 3 years now and still don't know Indy like I should.
