Time to re-title this forum to C-Stock. It's official.

C-Stock!

It's like B-Stock but with even more non-fwd cars to compete against.

Yes, we're the official SCCA sacrificial lambs. So many one time dominators of G and H bitched so much about the Mini take over, there weren't about to allow the JCW's in a class they might have a chance of doing well in.

It actually has a Shot in C-Stock. You gotta Kick and push the front struts for some tiny amount of camber but the 09 JCW should actually have a shot. I'd put 245/40's on those wheels though. It's gonna be course dependent. Anything with sweepers it's over. Anything with transitions and low speed corners your coming out of a dig it's got a shot. The one time I autox'd our Mini it was an 03 with header, pulley and JCW springs and R6's (not A6's) and Open diff, it ran 1.3 seconds behind the current (at the time) A-Stock national champion in his S2k CR. I'd think a 09 JCW is going to make more power and torque then I had at the time and run an A6 tire it should be competetive in C-stock. SHOULD.

I'm running Kumho V710's on an Enkei PF01, with double adjustable Koni's and am doing well against RX8's and the miatas. I'm not a great driver, so I imagine that a really good driver could really have a shot.

Yes, it is.

Currently SCCA stock classes for the MINI are-

COOPER (All models)= H-Stock (HS)
COOPER S (All models)= D-Stock (DS)
2006-2012 MCS JCW = D-Stock (DS)
2009-2012 Clubman S JCW = D-Stock (DS)

Permitted Modifications
• Any Struts - including adjustable damping
• Any substitution, addition or removal of a single anti-roll bar
• Panel Air Filter in stock air box
• Any Cat-back exhaust
• Harnesses (Quick-fit or similar) and C.G. Locks
• Wheels must be stock size and stock offset within 5mm. This means 15x5.5 and 16x6.5 for the MC and 16x6.5 and 17x7 for the MCS.
• R-compound Tires - Hoosier A6, Kumho V710, or similar. Street tires are also acceptable, but won't be very competitive since race tires are permitted in this class.
• Brake pads may be replaced
• Spare tire and tool kit may be removed
• Roll bars or roll cages may be added
• airbags may not be removed

Basically, that's about the extent of the modifications that can be done. Lowering Springs, camber plates, camber links, cone filters, lighter seats, interior gutting, headwork, cams, engine dampeners, USS, Strut Braces, BBK's, brake stiffeners, slotted rotors, etc..... ARE NOT PERMITTED IN STOCK CLASS.
