D Stock Hoosier A6 F/B Pressures for AX
Hoosier A6 F/B Pressures for AX
I am in my 2nd year of AutoX and need some advice on tire pressures for my new Hoosier 225/40R/17.
I have run 41/38 the 1st three events but I'm not sure this is the optimal setup.
Anyone willing to weigh in?

Nothing wrong with the 17's.....16's are prolly the way to go.....I run the 205/45/16's A6.....45lbs front 55 rear...60 rear on concrete......0 toe fr/rr......if the car wont turn, either go lower on the rear, or up high on the rear...if you run lower rear pressure, it will give you more warning before it breaks loose...higher makes it on edge.....thats where i like it.....
Thanks BBW. I have (2) seperate events this weekend and will take your advice. I'll let you know Monday how it works out. Wish me luck, I need that little extra to take out a troublesome Nissan.
Have you looked into what ideal operating temp Hoosier recommends?

I run 36F, 32R cold, no nitrogen (yet). I have only run two events so far, and need to get a pyrometer for real-world data instead of speculating. It bears mentioning that I run R6 front and A6 rear.
