yay for 5.5 year old thread replies LOL...nice...

FWIW I still run in the mid to upper 30s with my rcomps. 225/50-15 BFG R1-S on 15x9 wheels up front. And on the back 15x7.5s with the same tires and about 45psi.

I have about 2.8 and 3.0 camber up front.

Latka got to try out this used V710s and did pretty well.

R50 with stock suspension
OEM holey wheels 15x5.5" and 205/50-15 V710
Stock alignment, no adjustable swaybar.

Pressures about 34-35 psi in front and 35 psi in the rear.

Tire temperatures +2 degrees difference in middle to outer treads, inner treads much cooler on all tires. Hottest were always outer tread edges.

Everyone said it would be a change from street tires, and boy were they right. I benefitted from two timing errors on my first 2 runs. Minihune was awesome - brought over his pyrometer and tire gauge for me so we could fiddle with things. I don't have enough skill to recognize the difference in feeling with the pressure adjustments we did, but Minihune seemed happy with the temps.

Hopefully *some* suspension stuff before the end of the year. Due to my job (driving offload to construction sites) I can't lower the car but a smidge, but I can sure stiffen things up. Right now I am on the base, non-sport suspension & swaybars. Not sure if I want to scoop up a full JCW setup or maybe go with JCW springs and the (Koni FSDs?) that were really popular a few years back. Swaybars front and rear, and adjustable!

Go MINI, GO! Can't wait for the next race.
