Splitter & Spoiler Question

I was wondering if a couple exterior mods I wanted to do would put me out of DSP. I think the M7 splitter is legal. Is either the JCW CF wing or JCW motorsport wing legal? The motorsport one is here. Thanks.

The use of endplates for rear spoilers is illegal under DSP rules, so the Motorsport one is definitely out.

As for the JCW CF wing, I don't know if that could be considered "standard or optional" equipment for your car, unless your car has the full JCW kit.

If it doesn't fall under the "standard or optional" clause, I think it would fail the "four-inch" rule (not permitted to protrude more than four inches from the car's bodywork in any direction). You'd have to measure to be certain, but it looks like it sticks out way more than four inches behind the rear edge of the roof. I don't know if the little "winglets" on the ends would count as "endplates" under the SCCA rules, but that might be another issue. (I have a cabrio, so I'm not really familiar with rear-wing rules)

I can't think of a reason why the M7 splitter would be illegal.
