Unless I missed the thread, who exactly is RSR? I mean, it must be more than two guys to be so successful, and get so much done...

Maybe in the offseason, a website would be in order.

Confirming that the #197 WILL make it to Barber. The parts arrived as promised and the paint shop went above and beyond by getting them prepped, painted and delivered this morning.

Special thanks to our friends at Mini for expediting the parts order. Without their help, we would not have made it.

Also, thanks to Koni for the quick turnaround on the busted shock.

Lastly, double thanks to Tim and Frank for some serious overtime to make it all happen.

The Graphics will be installed Sunday morning and the transporter will be loaded for a Sunday afternoon departure.

Bueno, I'd be willing to pay for some RSR swag. Good way to support the cause.

 

So as you may know, The North American Cooper Challage is the coming up this weekend too at Talladega Gran Prix. It would be great if you could race on Sunday with the other Mini's there too.

Anyway I will see you guys on Friday.

 

Doubt RSR would take the chance to have one of their GA Minis damaged at a Wicks event. But....... I shouldn't reply for them I guess.

You are correct . . . after wrecks at Mid Ohio (198) and Watkins Glen (197) . . . we really don't want to put the cars at risk for a non series event.

Phil invited us to race. However, after a 2 1/2 hour Grand Am race the cars will require prep work and it would be unfair to ask the crew to put in another day.

It's a fun track, I don't think I've gotten, think it's turn 14 at the top of the hill correct yet. Headed out there in a few minutes maybe we'll met you all there.

 

Ummm, I guess you wouldn't believe me if I said we were at the Thursday night 'run what you brung drags' . . . I didn't think so.
