Springs owners...
Hey Killer Eva
Some day, explain to us what TrinityBLK means.
Please pick a date for your ride. Sundays work good. Give me a time, place, loc etc and I will send you the ride sheet to prep. Allow an hour for Denver pp to get down, then let's go. Pls pick a place for food, that is always good. and give your ride a cool name.
Let us know when you want, we will put it on the calendar, and we will put the word out...
Thanks,
JPS

" Drive to the Gods and the Sky "
is what you decided. I don't know if that is cool or not, but it sure is unique.
Below is the ride sheet Sean prepared for Saturday. Note that ALL the detail you need is there, including his CONTACT NUMBER and meetup details. It is carefully prepared (with Dani's oversight) so that there will be no confusion. Please print this out in advance, and we will bring copies for those of you who cannot.
Questions? Post here or contact Sean directly at the number herein.
Thanks, see you Saturday.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Just come on up the night before like you and John did before.
I will buy or make dinner. Save you the $$.
But, come out and let us meet you at AutoX at DIA.
Then on Sunday, you are at AutoX at Coors Field (SCCA) too. Well, we have our Poker Run that day and....don't tell....we could make the AutoX one of our stops that day too.
Hmmmm..two in one.
Think of the possibilities.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Another Springer
Hello all, need to add another Colo Spgs MINI S - '04 DS/Blk, bonnet stripes, nav, etc. . .spends most of its time on I-25 between COS and Denver - methinks it needs to get out for a fun run to stretch it's legs. We didn't see the Garden of the Gods run until the weekend AFTER the meet - I about died when I saw the photos on the 5280 site - we were so close that day, must have just missed ya. . .
Anyhow, we'll be watching the sites to see when the next COS event is. Looking forward to meeting up with some of you in person!
Keep on motoring.

Jonathan! I like the way you think. I'm all for 2 N 1 deals! Keep me posted.
I've got a place to stay that weekend up there already so got that worked out. Just need to do the registration thing for BMW. It's on my list.
Trinity/Weeee,
I'd love to get back into AutoX, but I don't think Mama will let her DS beauty touch a track (hence my interest in getting my own MC or MCS soon, but I'd need to sell my Jeep and my quad and trailer to pull that off!)
Gonna have to play it by ear - but we'll definitely keep an eye out for your Blue Sooper Cooper - actually, I think I might have seen you around already. . .

Good point
It's like they say " If Mamma ain't happy..... No one is happy!". Good plan. I'm going out to play April 23rd ( BMW ) & April 24 (SCCA) for Autocross events. You should come out and look. Rides are free!
Here's to another n00b!

Welcome to BBoy!!
Glad to have you as a part of the Colorado Motoring Community. A few notes:
www.MINI5280.org is the Motoring Society of the Rocky Mountain Region. You have found us I am sure. We have a very close group of folks called MOTR Minis of the Rockies who are largely a group of Classic Mini owners, but where there are some of us who swing both ways. So you know, MINI5280 has two subchapters, one in Colorado Springs (contact Biggripper right here in NAM) and another in Northern Colorado (contact Johnna right here in NAM). You can find details of events, rides, and gatherings for 5280 and the chapters in the MINI5280 Forum and the Rocky Mtn Forum.
Also note in the left margin the NAM Calendar. Go there, then scroll down, and JUMP to the MINI5280 calendar. We post all events for all 3 groups there. When you join MINI5280 you are automatically a member of the CS and NorColo groups, which do not charge separate fees.
To stay in touch, go to the MINI5280 and Rocky Mtn Forums. Click the button on top to 'subscribe'. What that will do is notify YOU when there are new posts, and you can read them without actually going into NAM. Or you can click the link and come to this site.
Finally, please be in contact with our MINI5280 officers and steering committee. We are:
Jonathan Souza, President@MINI5280.org
Rick Gonzales, Membership@MINI5280.org
Kendall Gelner, Secretary@MINI5280.org
Nick Ko, Treasurer@MINI5280.org
Contact Rick for dues info or you can use PayPal (MINI5280) to pay our low, low fees.
Finally, please be sure to support our local MINI / Mini community by doing business with Ralph Schomp MINI (in the event your car is coming from elsewhere), WEBB Motorsports, Detailers Paradise, and more.
Thanks, please join us for one of our upcoming events. Saturday, June 25th is our annual trek to the Colorado BBQ Challenge (State Championshps) in Frisco. See our Calendar for details.
Welcome again to the MINI world!!
