Fun roads near Mountain Home, ID?
What's up western people! I'm going to be working in Mountain Home, Idaho for a little while starting in May but I'm from Alabama and don't know the area in the slightest. I'm imagining(and hoping) there's some cool mountain roads to drive around the area and the combination of going four months without driving and coming home to a new Mini really has me anticipating some fun drives.
I have not driven this area, although it looks like it could present some great drives.
Use google maps to scope out the twisties and plan some 50-75 mile routes.
You will have your MINI with you, I hope.
Now if you want to come east a bit, Colorado, we could show you some good roads.
Think MITM-WP in August, if you can swing some time off. Should be fun with MTTS happening, too.

Oh but of course! I'll be breaking it in by driving it all the way from Birmingham

I doubt I'll be there for August though. It's hard to know when and where my company sends me but I'm guessing 1-2 months there.
