I am really interested in meeting some enthusiasts and members of the club for the first time. Just wondering how many people might be attending this one. Here is the info about the drive in case you were wondering. I hope to meet a bunch of you next weekend.

Being that i am new to the Mini scene, I think I am missing something somewhere, is there another board with other local GTG info?

anyway, was out with my buddies from the passat/audi A4 club this weekend and we got a couple of shots &quot;rolling&quot; thought I would share with you all. I just never get tired of looking at my mini, you might be tired of looking at my mini, but I'm not. Since these were taken, I clay bar'd my car, buffed with finessit compound and Waxed with Mac's, tinted the fender side markers and sat and admired the car. Spent a lot of time looking up performance modifications, reading the boards, looking at prices, and making my &quot;shopping list&quot;. So much to do, this is all too exciting.

Its been a long time since we've gotten together as a group so we are having a get together Thursday May 9th, 2003. Here are the details:

Where: Rock Bottom Brewery
9627 E. County Line Rd (Park Meadows area)


When: Thursday August 7th
7:00 pm


What: We'll be giving Dave Bunting (aka DaveInDenver aka TheScientist) a send off as he departs for California. As part of this you'll get the opportunity to meet some new faces that will be working hard to make MINI5280 one the best clubs in the country.

We'll also be discussing planned events as well as brainstorming for new event ideas

And last, but not least, we'll have a chance to talk MINI for a bit

I'm going to be there, both on Saturday and this Thursday. I'm excited its my first MINI drive since I got my MCS. See you all there.

 

Unless there are a bunch of Mini drivers for Saturday, I don't think I'm gonna make it. I only have that day off this week, and one of my other car buddies needs help with his brakes, replacing rotors and pads since the last time at Second Creek Raceway he started throwing sparks everywhere. So, if this drive turns out to be a big drive, I will go, but if there are only a few people, I think the brakes will take priority.

Anyway, hope to see you at second creek in September

This will be my first Mini meet on Saturday as i just joined Mini5280 what Radios do you need? i cant wait to see all the Minis!!!!!

Limey, welcome to MCO.

If you go to Target or to Office Depot you can purchase radios (they look like walkie talkies) that are FRS compatible and have both the regular 14 channels PLUS the subchannels. You need to get a radio with the subchannels otherwise you can only listen in, but not talk.
