TPS on OBD2 port
TPS on OBD2 port
I want to hookup Throttle Position Sensor to my Traqmate. From using Scangauge2, I know OBD2 port on R53 is providing TPS information. Anyone know which port is the TPS?
I tried using a voltmeter to detect change in current in all the OBD2 ports when I modulate the throttle, but was not successful at detecting any change. So the signal might be digital?
Thanks in advance.

Yes it is digital. You won't get any analog signals out of the OBDii port. The scangauge doesn't have any on-board I/O either. I have a Dashdyno, which will give you a couple of discrete outputs and analog inputs I believe, but no analog out.
Your best bet is to actually tap the wires at the TB and pull the analog signal there. I'm not any help in telling you which ones, but that is where I would look.
I am unfamiliar with the Traqmate so I am unsure of it's abilities.
