Amp/Audio Install

So, I'm planning on doing an audio install for the Paceman S (2013) and the only thing I'm missing is the hardest part of the install... the power wire to the battery. Anyone have any advice on which grommet to use or how to get through the firewall to the battery? any and all help on this would be great! I'll post up pics once I gather enough info to do the install.

I just got my 2013 Paceman S All4 a few days ago. A dealer was driving it. 3k miles on it. I haven't had time to poke around as much as I would like, but I do remember from my 2002 what a pain accessing the battery was. If memory serves me correct, I created my own hole in the firewall and bought a grommet to fit. I also remember what a nightmare the install was.

I wish you luck, as I'm right behind you, so I'll deff be looking for pics from you! - Out of curiosity, what are you going to be installing? I've thought about getting a powered Bazooka tube and calling it a day. Easy to unplug and remove if needed, and ample bass. I have the HK system, otherwise, I'd be considering going full monty and applying the Dynamat and installing new component sets, crossovers, etc. But it seems crazy to do all of that and keep the factory head unit. But what choice do we have, right?

very true.... I actually went with a full RF system (amps/speakers). Kept the factory HU to keep the look of the front the same. everything except the sub is hidden under the false floor of the trunk. I think I have pictures posted somewhere... maybe on the Facebook Paceman owners group.
