Employee Pricing - 7% off MSRP

My dealership is offering 7% off MSRP and 3 years maintenance. I'm looking at getting the Paceman JCW, but it's stickered at $45,750. With discount it's $42,547. Is this a good deal?

Any discount off a MINI is a good deal.

No kidding ! I was pleased just to get $500 off the JCW Hardtop I just ordered.

Now, that's still a ton of money to spend on a MINI. With a sticker over $45K, I would imagine it's loaded with just about every option available.

On the wife's roadster when ordering we got what they called "Costco" pricing and that was 3 or 4 percent. I thought that was good. Honestly if you can get 7 plus extended mat. off something you were probably going to justify at sticker anyways. Sounds like you should do it. Just sayin..

I'm debating myself on CM or the PAC man. Wonka wonk. . . . . . O

Does it apply to all models? I wasn't even able to get the special financing rates on my Paceman. Although it was good for practically any other model they had.

Make sure it includes the JCW model. Most dealers do not budge off MSRP on them. 7% is a good deal in general. Most of them don't want to go above $1500 off a countryman. MINI doesn't have the typical dealer holdback which is why they don't want to negotiate much.

Not much info to go on. The 7% discount is good, but I'd still check the Mini configurator and ensure the $45K is right. Marking it up to give you a discount doesn't help much.

If $45K is right, then yeah, it sounds loaded as they start at $35K or so.

Went in to try to purchase the JCW Paceman, but they were offering $7500 less on my trade-in than what other dealerships have offered and wouldn't budge at all. I just walked out on them. I guess that's their little scam. They did not seem interested in my business at all. This was at MINI of South Atlanta. I would advise anyone else to avoid them.

Looking at the sales numbers so far, a used Paceman of any kind is going to be a rare find. Besides who sells a brand new car after a year? Rich people? Haha

Well, a used Paceman would be 3 months old at best.

Quick question Chanclor, where did you get your side checkered flag graphic? Is it from http://www.ebay.com/itm/MINI-Cooper-Rally-Checkered-Side-Stripes-Porsche-Style-/150597765850?vxp=mtr&hash=item2310538ada?

If not, who? And did you do it yourself or have it installed? Any complaints?

No my dealer installed it for me. I showed them the picture from this site, and they took care of it from there.
