My local dealer was able to get me a build slot for a JCW Paceman, so yesterday ordered it up, now the wait begins...

Oh I'm used the wave thing, I have an older Porsche and always wave to other P-Car drivers!

 

JCW Paceman oughtta be the isht. I'm loving my All4 (since it isn't a JCW, is it 'justa' All4??), but sometimes I wish it had just a little more pop. But not quite enough to warrant the time and expense of pulling the ECU to have it tuned, because it's still a lot of fun to drive just as it is. The JCW oughtta be one helluva blast.

Make sure you come to this forum often, because reading about everybody else who's got one already (like all THREE of us) is sure to make the time go by faster.

 

Just got mine ordered too about two weeks ago. Dealer let me know its going into QA now and then to wait for a ship.

Mine's not a JCW tho, just normal ALL4, so I guess gremlin won't wave to me. :D

 

Nice I ordered mine about 4 weeks ago and still don't have a confirmed build date. Just a production number...

 

Oh ouch! Wonder if you have to wait for a special JCW run or something?! Mine was 6 weeks yesterday and rumor is it should be in town by Friday. Good luck, and hope your wait isn't much longer. Have you tried calling the ASK MINI number or checking with your MA to see what's up?

 

I've read on various online sources that they only run the JCWs once per month. I don't know if it's true but I've seen it in more than one place.

 

I've got a build date from the dealer yesterday but the website for tracking hasn't been updated yet.

 

It's on a ship, and on it's way! apparently my car was loaded on to the Grand Venus in Bremerhaven a few days ago!

 

Won't be long now!

Wow. That was quite a wait! I ordered Lana on May 18 and picked her up on July 16, and I am on the west coast, so had to endure the Panama Canal trip.

Apparently is took longer for the JCW

 

Mine took about 2 months as well, ordered early april, production 4/15, delivery 6/7. But its been a BLAST to drive. It really has some attitude when you turn off traction control and turn on sport mode!
