The sunroof on my Paceman was left open during some heavy rains last week, not sure how much open or which way (wasn't me), but there was 1/2" of standing water in the rear floors.
Shop vac'ed it up and left a house dehumidifier running overnights for 3 days, so I think its as dry as it is getting at this point.
The radio display doesn't light up, controls don't work, steering wheel controls work at least. I'm guessing the radio will need to be replaced.
The airbag light is on constantly now. Where is the airbag computer in the R61? Under the console? If so it probably got soaked and fried. Can bimmer link read airbag codes? And reset?
Would like to make sure thats it before I swap parts out. Airbag module needs vin matching, so might be a trip to the dealer :(

I made the same mistake a few years ago on my Countryman - open just a crack - monsoon rainstorm - cup holders were full. Had to replace the radio which was on backorder for a full year from Mini. Tried a used one - took it to the dealer but no go because of some coding issue. Replaced window switches and mirror controls. Fortunately no airbag light issues. Good luck
