Help! Broken Grounding Strap Bolt

Countryman had been having a hard time starting over the last few weeks. Seemed battery related as alternator was replaced not that long ago. Installed a new battery. Dash lights, radio, etc. come on, but no starter.

I saw couple of threads saying it might be the engine grounding strap, and upon inspection it was extremely frayed. It was only the last few wires holding it together. Got a new strap and here's where it went bit wrong.

Bolt on frame side is just spinning. I don't even know if that accessible from underneath.

What are my options now? Do I have to drill that out? Could I get away with using one of the existing holes on the frame nearby if I sand it?

Clean surface, drill and tap bolt. Might be better with a nut and bolt on the other side so you can reach up in the strut tower and tighten the other side. Good luck and hope you can get it fixed.
