Just wanted to see if how loud my engine is was normal or not. It idles are around 1100 or 1200 as I have the stock tachometer so I can’t tell precisely. The engine just sounds like an older truck or a Diesel engine with how loud it is.

 

Sounds to me like a vacuum line came off the intake manifold somewhere. Check that out and report back.

 

Sorry but how exactly would I go about checking that?

I took it to my mechanic and was told that it sounded normal.
