Exclamation Are these common issues with 2012 Countryman?

I'm the original owner of a 2012 Countryman S, currently has just under 70,000. Primarily driven in town, where my commute is less than 7 miles on the freeway daily. It's never been in an accident. In early 2018, I had the water pump issues others have posted about, which was repaired. At this time, the dealership also replaced all 4 Spark Plugs due to failure. Started having engine overheating issues again this week, and service department is reporting a 2-point leak, from the radiator hose and thermostat housing (which I've read other people have experienced with this model).

I plan to keep this car for at least a few more years... should I be expecting other things to fail? I've had cars with more than double this mileage that have never had any of these issues. I'd appreciate any thoughts/insight that you all have.

I cannot do work on the car myself, so this is expensive ($1015 to repair the 2-point leak I described).
Thx

All similar to problems on our CM. Find an independent mechanic specializing in Euro cars with a good reputation and have them look at it. Dealership is last place to take car out of warranty. $1015 is way higher than the crazy prices they quoted me. $850 minus 10% because they were kind that day. lol

Turbos tend to fail prematurely on these cars also unless a strict / frequent maintenance program is followed.

You can try to prolong the life of the turbo by always using high quality synthetic oil and don’t go over 5000 miles between oil changes. The oil gets coked up in the feed line and staves the turbo of oil. The wastegate is it’s own animal. But other than the turbo, you have pretty much covered the majority of the issues. Water pump, thermostat, aux water pump (under warranty extension), and the high pressure fuel pump (also covered for 10 years or 120,000 miles)
just keep up with the regular maintenance, and you should be ok. My ‘12 R60 has almost double the miles you have and it’s still going strong.
