R60 Cooper S All4 Limp mode 2c58

Hi
I have a problem with my R60. It is reproducible almost every morning.
I have to just drive for 3minuted normally then accelerate to higher speed like 70-80km/h and then start slowing down without braking. After few seconds I'll get half engine sign and power reduction.
After restarting the car it will crank long but after will run normally and long crank till I remove the error.
Error is 2c58 and always with a559.
I'm curious if it could be battery related ?
I'm usually running 14,7V and recently I've left the car with lights on for 10 minutes and I had to recharge to start it.
If the I drive longer without acceleration and car warms up fully then error will not occur.
For me it looks like some intake pressure issue while deceleration but I can't figure this out with live data monitoring.
Please advice

Hi
I see nobody can help.
I have some new info then.
So when I started the tread I was getting 2c58 error always together with a559. O read some articles and saw that this error is many times related to battery.
So I bought new battery and registered it with Carly.
Next day the error which occured in the same condition was 38B4 so communication with IBS.
I've checked if I connected it and it was connected.
So I thought maybe it's IBS related issue so I have disconnected IBS to create error from the beginning and again error occured in the same condition but with 38A4. In the meantime I've head a A0B0 error which is also reported by many users as IBS related.
I checked and found that 2c58 is not an error it's a turbine shutdown as a consequence of another error.
Today error again but without another error recorder.
I really need somebody's help.

Today I've cleaned the electronic blow-off valve and it's in perfect condition.
I have checked turbine shaft play and also perfect. No power losses nothing like this. Only error when slowing down.

Did you have it scanned with the schwaben tool? That tool will show more whats going on and pull more codes. I used it.
My guess is you might have a bad IBS cable? 1242760356

Or the connection plug to that sensor on the cable is loose or damaged.

Hi
I have Carly for BMW and have onli 2c58 and sometimes other related error.
Recently I've drove 400km and was able to reproduce this issue with correlation to 2D60 error so exhoust vanos. I've changed it to new one and no difference error 2c58 was still reproducible .
Agian without correlation with anything else.
so maybe IBS is influencing such behaviour but I'm not sure and angry.
I have also cleaned intake solenoid and changed charge pressure sensor ...the one on the charge pipe and I'm also planning to change MAP .
A lot of new parts and work without real diagnosed problem. I hate that.
Anyone have any other ideas ?

Again ....error course only during longer deceleration after acceleration.

Ok so:
IBS replaced
Intake solenoid replaced and exhoust solenoid swapped for testing.
Charge pipe pressure sensor replaced.
Spark plugs and oil replaced.
No idea what to do. Car is going into half yellow error sign each morning after 10 minutes drive while slowing down.
I've had a look at intake vales and they look like this:

I'm always getting 2c58 without any other error or with some errors which are then proved to be not real.
I need advice...shoula I go for walnut blast or check vacum pump or any other stuff ? I've noticed I do not have DMTL so it's not the case.

You are replacing parts blind. Best advice is to find a competent indy MINI/BMW mechanic and get it looked at. Reading codes is great but lots of codes appear but don't bring you to the trouble points.

Great advice but this forum is made to avoid spending money and letting mechanic to earn and learn. So first I want to know what's wrong and if I have to give it to mechanic at some point I'll definitely do this.
I have good access to parts so for all I've change I haven't spent more then 80Euro so not a painful "blind" repairing.

HI,
Sorry for very late answet but yes. It's solved. It was vanos solenoid. I've exchanged one but appeared that this was a false positive error and no error for the other one.
