Do I have a lemon?
Do I have a lemon?
2012 All4 with a manual transmission. I've already had to replace the clutch, windshield, the entire GPS/electronics mechanism, several coolant lines and have the turbo rebuilt. Now, at 145,000 miles, it feels like the transmission slips any time I drive uphill or put my foot on the gas. Just no power. Always had it serviced at the dealer. Ready to trash it. Did I get a bad one or are these issue common?
That ^ and, 100k is about normal for a MINI S clutch, that' s when mine was replaced. Windshield is just luck of the draw, our F150 is like a year old and we had to replace the windshield due to a rock. Never go out of your way to buy factory Nav. I've had a new t-stat and a couple coolant line fittings replaced at around 90k. Turbo, well they can last the life of the car or not. If your clutch is slipping you need to take it back to the stealership that replaced it because they did a crap job. Private shops > Stealerships It's not a lemon, it's just a 2nd gen MINI.
