All 3 cigarette lighters out, fuses ok

2014 Countryman All 4. No idea what happened - all 3 cigarette lighter ports died (front seat, back seat and boot). I checked the fuses in the passenger foot area, all 3 are good. I tried different items in each of the ports to make sure it just wasn't a faulty phone charger or something. Anyone else ever have this issue? I'd take it to the dealer but I'm already at 57k miles so I'm sure they'll charge an arm and a leg...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've had the wires to a lighter burn out when I plugged in a 12 volt air compressor and ran it. I learned they aren't capable of handling any heavy load for more than a very short time. If you never used them for 'other appliances' I have no idea what could be the problem.

Thanks whaap. How'd you figure it out? Tear apart the console and see the wires were melted or something? I suppose I could do that, it's just odd that all 3 ports went out... Unless they're wired together or something. Hmmm
