P00BD code ?

Hello all, My 2012 countryman has had an intermittent shudder when accelerating up grades. Always at the same altitude, usually with no check engine light, but I had one once with no limp mode. I got to where I was going and when I started the car again it was gone.
Today while going up the same grade in the same spot it shuddered hard! CEL came on and I have my OBD2 and dash command so I read a P00BD code and the car went in limp mode. Simple replacement of Mass Air Flow sensor? I did find that my tubing into Mass Air Flow was not seated right up against the lip, don't know if that would cause this.

Anyway any and all input will be appreciated!

Thanks,
Mike

Do you have an aftermarket intake with an oiled filter?

Either way, I'd try cleaning the MAF with MAF cleaner before spending money on a new one.

I have the AFE filter. No oil. I'll try a clean of the MAFS.

not having the oil filler cap screwed on right can bring up the engine light, also can cause slightly lumpy running.
