P0015 Code
P0015 Code
My 2011 CM ALL4 threw a P0015 code today after getting gas.. it has thrown a code before but always cleared before I could get home to hook up my reader. The car is well maintained and has 117k miles on it.. any thoughts or suggestions, should I replace the cam sensor or take it in to get the timing checked.. from searching that is all I could find, but no one ever followed up with what the issue was.. thanks in advance!

Well dropped car off at dealer tonight.. as I was driving the check engine light went off twice for a few minutes than came back on.. fingers crossed it is the sensor, vanos, or timing tensioner.
Could be VANOS as P0015 with MINI FC code 0x2D61 is VANOS, exahust: Closed-loop control fault, position not reached. 0x2845 is 'B' camshaft position timing over-retarded (bank 1) and 0x2D60 is VANOS, exhaust: closed-loop control fault, camshaft sticks. Depending on which one you have I've seen VANOS, skipped timing, or camshaft position sensor as the culprit. Report back with your findings!
