Edit: missed over a line.

So how long (how many miles) from when you got it fixed and the oil changed to when it was smoking and the mechanic found no oil? Any leaks that you could tell under the vehicle?

Here's the time line:

Purchased my car 04/04/14- *33,000 miles, 1 owner, NJ- paid for Mini dealer inspection in NJ and they said the car was in excellent condition and undervalued- they said get it!!!

12/05/15- *at 52k miles, Car overheated / took to dealer which was less than 2 miles away. *Paid $900 for most urgent issue of water pump based on recommended most urgent repairs needed. *Dealer couldn't do other repairs that day and said it could wait.

1/05/15- oil changed at local place, not dealer.

1/07/15- taxi driver backed into my car bumper with force while it was parked. *Only visible damage was paint. *Dealer mentioned my hood need force to open.

1/14/15- scheduled valve cover gasket repair.

1/19/15- picked up car.

1/26/15- on and off low oil pressure message. *It on came on when I stopped abruptly and then went off.

2/3/15- my car is smoking after 2 mile drive and making a cranking noise. *I stopped at R&S Strauss for help which was local. *I asked a employee to look under the hood because I was scared a rat may be under there. *He said this isn't looking good. *You have no oil all. *It's not low, it's completely empty. *I had a local mechanic put more oil in. *This solved the problem but I knew something didn't feel right.

2/10/15- I notice my gas was running out quicker. *Put 10 dollar in and just watched for a few days.

2/18/15- I called mini to speak to the rep I've been working in to tell her. *I was scheduled for 2/26.

2/26/15- I dropped the car off. *My rep was out sick. The rep in that date informed me there is a possibility the oil was taken out, not replaced and not checked.

3/3/15- I get a call that based on my complains i needed to repair section (flex pipe section of exhaust is cracked and making it smell fumes)- $3000

3/4/15- I was upset because the report only said my oil needed to be topped off??? And then a lost of charges involving the struts and flex pipe. *I asked them did they look into the reason there was no oil. *I also stated in a email my concern and can she confirm they did a full inspection. *I was told they noticed my oil was not full. *I told them this may be because I added oil at R&S Strauss and it may not have been completely full but I purchased a large jug to get me moving so I can make it to the dealer. *She said for them to look further into the oil issue they have to check the engine which would require a compression test for $500. *I said let's do it because I'm convinced more is wrong and it may be due to not having oil in my car.

3/10/15- I get a call that they finished the test and I need a new engine- $10,000!!!!

3/11/15- I reported my story to mini headquarters.
