Aftermarket stereo- Ant cable
Aftermarket stereo- Ant cable
Hello all,
I'm new here, so I hope I'm posting the right place.
I have a 2011 Mini Coop S Convertible.
I have JUST replaced the stock (non HK) stereo with a new head unit.
When I took out the stock radio I noticed there were 2 antenna cables coming from the stock unit. My assumption was one for terrestrial radio, and the other was the XM sat ant cable.
Does any one know which is which?
One was black and the other was purple.
I hooked the new unit into the purple one, and now I don't get very good reception on some stations.
Now being, it's every so fun to disassemble the entire dash for a radio install. I wanted to hopfully get the right answer before I start taking it aprt again.
