My counterman is over a year old, 42k miles and for the past 6 months my sanity has been tested with an annoying rattle which I finally determined was coming from dry rubber around the door seals. Problem seemed to go away with windows open slightly, so initially I didn't think it was the seals.

Highly recommend Gummy Plfedge ($9 on amazon).. it's a lube/care stick for rubber.. check it out. Door rattle will be gone. Also recommend installing rubber matts in the door storage areas (use rubber glue), helps keep down the noise with loose items (coins, rolling things).
