Have not seen one on the road. My wife saw one that a company had all covered with vinyl graphics, but that's all we have seen here in the Detroit area. We pick ours up on Saturday 4/2. A friend of mine went to our dealer and they had a white countryman on the lot that he bought, but I have not seen him since he picked it up. Can't wait to get our this weekend. Pure Red ALL4. Will look nice next to my 09 MCS in the driveway!

So are you keeping the '06 when the CM arrives? (I hope so ) The '06 Space Blue/Silver with the swoop is one of my favorites!

I do plan to keep the '06 JCW.
The CM-S is replacing a gas guzzler & is intended to be a MINI I will drive more often because it will fit into my everyday family travel needs.
The JCW is generally impractical for my family routine these days, so it stays in the garage. It is a shame because Space Blue is the most enjoyable car I have ever owned.
Now, if the CM-S performs more "MINI like" than not, & the JCW tends to remain in the garage, well, I may have to pass it on to another enthusiast.
For now, I really look forward to the end of May, when "Oxford" is due to be delivered.

My husband got the CM to replace the gigantic Nissan Titan Crew Cab. He has totally bonded with the CM, the other day we were going out to dinner and he patted the dashboard and mumbled something about "being one with Wulfric" . I've only driven it a handful of times, but it is very nimble and MINI like.

I just picked up my light coffee Cooper S Countryman on 03/30. I traded my 2007 Mustang GT....Reason was also gas mileage.

One would think that here in NYC and around CM would be a hit but I haven't seen on a streets even a single one. Not in Midtown and Downtown where I work, not in Village and Williamsburg where I roll, not in Hoboken where I live. There quite a few regular MINIs, mostly Clubmans, but no Countryman.
Probably for snotty Manhattan people it's too "SUVish" and for Brooklyn and Staten Island folks it's too small, expensive and cute.

Spotted a True Blue/White Top All4 today at the Walmart in West Chester, OH (north of Cincinnati). It has the Unoin Jack on the bonnet, boot and mirrors. And a bulldog on the back side windows.
Here is a picture of it.

Story time - - -
I was walking down H Street and saw a silver/black CM come down 17th and turn onto H, and then head into a garage. Kept walking, crossed 17th, and started looking at garage entrances. Last one, there she was. On the entry ramp, nose pointed steeply downward on a cork-screw spiral. I said hello and realized she was in distress - needed to get out, but the car kept rolling. Still had temp plates and a frame from Passport. Asked a couple of quick questions, but she needed to concentrate on putting the parking break on, so I left her alone. She was quite happy with her CM, special ordered it. I hope she's not still there.

CM was an all black imposing non-S specimen with 18" black wheels, chrome exterior line and a roof rack. I was surprised how impressive and large it looked, seemed to be bigger than my GTI though I know it's not true.
When I looked in through the windows interior seemed a little cheap but again it was through the glass and it was non-S version.
