New bulbs

Installed new bulbs for my running lights and smoked out fender markers. What a difference.

New bulbs on the bottom. So much more substantial.

New bulb installed on the left

Both in. Almost as bright as the fog lights.

They look great, thanks for sharing.

Curious what type/brand and if you got any error codes?

Funny you asked about error codes. I ordered of Amazon. Brand is AEagle. T-10 WEDGE bulb. The car parts wizard said they would fit and were replacement for parking/interior/accessory lighting.

They fit, but I do have a "burned exterior bulb" warning light. I have not re-checked my installation yet, I have gotten this code when I did not get the bulb housing completely seated.

So the error codes came back. I did a quick search and found some Canbus Error free bulbs. The brand is Yorkim, T10 bulbs.

They are 90% as bright as the error throwing pair.

New, error free bulb on the right.

After a few weeks of using the "error free" bulbs I can say that they are mostly error free, as long as you start the car with the lights off. You can usually cycle through light settings and get the error to go away. I like the brighter lights (for looks and effectiveness) but I am now regularly checking all my lights to make sure the error is not an actual burned out bulb.

I particularly like the brighter bulbs in the fender markers. When walking up to the car at night they really pop.
