Bluetooth Issues and dealer fixed it

I have a month old 2015 CMs and having Bluetooth issues since day 1. I brought my CM to the dealer for 1 month complimentary check up and I complain about the Bluetooth. Now its fixed and on the paperworks it shows they replaced the "Combox Media". So my question is what is Combox Media and where it is located? My services advisor seems like clueless when I asked her. I checked online and saw ECS Tuning selling it and listed for all the Mini models except Countryman. And also on the diagram it showed its located in the back part of the car. Can someone confirm if its located in the back part of the car not behind the radio. Thanks.

Cant remember if it under the carpet on the passenger side , toward the front. or what. Do think in the trunk or under the seats.

what was wrong with your bluetooth??

I just picked up a 2014 CM last week and I'm having a BT problem too. Can't stream music from my android phone, but BT phone calls work.

Tried streaming audio from an iphone and it works fine, so its just from the android.

Do you think that's related?

osinkboy, can you read your CHAMP file and send it to me?
as my 2014 MCS is born to have BT call only but not BT music.
i believe it due to coding problem.

@Chattmanlan

Would love to, but can you tell me how to get there? Tried searching the board really quickly, and didn't find out how to do this...

Don't think it's just coding. I think it'd due to BMW arbitrarily deciding that if you want BT music you're saddled with purchasing the nav setup. Even though the hardware in there is capable of it.
