Question Rod Bolt Install

I am preparing to go Stage 3 and was going to install some ARP rod bolts and wanted to know if anyone had a good how to on doing this without removing the engine and if any special tools are required? Also I noticed that there are actual gaskets or gasket in a tube for the oil pan. Is it correct that the N18 uses the gasket in a tube? TIA!

From what I’ve seen, you can install them without pulling he engine, but it doesn’t look simple. ARP says that the bolts are a stretch to torque, so you need to use a dial indicator on the opposite end of the bolt head. I’m not sure how you could do that without pulling the engine....

The stretch to torque is impossible with the stock rods as the threaded holes are blind. Arp does provide recomended torque specs in lieu of the stretch method.
