anyone install the forge inlet pipe?

just wondering if anyone had install the Forge inlet pipe? and I notice there's a sensor or something tap into the side of the stock inlet pipe, and there's nothing on the forge inlet pipe to tap back into. just wondering what people do with that thing? or would like to find out what it is. possible intake temp sensor?? any advice greatly appreciated!

HI,

Thinking get this hose since a while ...
I think you can drill it to put this temps sensor (and past it if you want more security)

I think it's possible

I've the red SAMCO silicon hoses kit ... So this forge inlet pipe would be nice even if it adds nothing.

yea, I thought about that too, then i just realized there's another connector on the other side, so I'm not sure how that will be attached now, and I don't want to take anything off if necessary. So this kind of put on hold. Im in the same boat too, mainly it's more for the look. but if it will mess anything up, I rather not install it.

p.s. as for vendor goes, they never reply back with email, i did call them and spoke with someone, but they said that they are waiting for answer back from UK. and that was like 2 weeks ago. I guess UK office is close for this whole month!
one thing i hate about vendor, as long they get their money, they don't care anything about what happen after!!! and this goes to several vendors i had deal with the last few months.

hi,

I ordered mine and installed it...
Look like a charm...
My first impression, the car seems smoother ...

If i had this sensor, mine was not connected, and i haven't the other on the left.

I think it depends of your country

Here in france my R60 haven't this sensor and connection

Happy with this new hose.

Sorry for you :-(

I'll post pic later
