I took a few pictures when I did mine though I didn't do a full write-up.

Helix has a video of the installation of their intercooler on their site.

It is an ALL4 (s) with a JCW lip. I'll be pulling it in the garage tonight or tomorrow AM for the swap.

The weather should be a nice out

The forge instructions found at the Detroit Tuned link are pretty good but there are some things that you may find unclear. I've swapped FMIC's in several MINI's including a JCW R61 which is the same as an R60 insofar as the IC is concerned. If you get stuck with anything let me know here or via PM and I'd be happy to help.

Thanks guys. The install was not too bad. The worst part was those darn plastic rivets...Arghhhh.

I drove it around for about 5 mins and hit 12psi on the way home...seems like everything was tight and no leaks.

Now to see how well it cools the air back down after some city driving.

Oh ya, I also found an oil leak while I was under the car.. I will call the dealer on Monday to see if they can get me in this week.

Cheers

No doubt about those rivets. Pain in the ****!! Especially the little tiny ones that line the wheel well fender lips. I found just driving the rivet on through and collecting the inner piece after the fact was the beat way for me.

Glad it all went well. Enjoy that cool air!
