Drivetrain VIP exhaust - resonator or not?

VIP exhaust - resonator or not?
For those with the VIP exhaust: does it have a resonator that replaces the stock cat/resonator or is it an empty pipe? I was under the impression that it was an empty pipe, but looking at the pictures on their website, it looks like there might be a resonator.
Here's the picture:

Thanks. I just got an email back from Van as well that said the same thing.
I think I'm decided on the NM exhaust + Magnaflow resonator in place of the stock 2nd cat/resonator. I stopped by my muffler shop to get the owner's opinion, but they were closed for the long weekend. I want to make sure he can do what I want before I buy anything.

Not sure what the NM sounds like in real life, but I am pissed I wasted all that money on a radio because I never turn it on. Always open all the windows to hear the exhaust and BOV.
I was driving behind the wife the other day in my Jeep with the top off and the VIP sounds really good and she was light on the throttle.
