Drivetrain Countryman Exhaust Basics?
Just put the Borla catback exhaust on the All4 S. Very simple installation (cut pipe 11" back from stock muffler, slip on the very light Borla system, push through exhaust hangers, and tighten up a couple brackets after adjusting the fit). I didn't notice any power increase (hopefully will after a new intake and whatever ECU updates become available). I got the notification from Magnaflow that their system was now in stock, on the same day the Borla showed up.
The larger tips look a lot better in the rear valence. Only a little louder than stock, but much deeper tone. When in sports mode, the pop-pop on engine braking is finally audible with the windows up and music on. Not raspy or farty at all like a couple of the systems I've heard on YouTube. Happy I did it. I think the cut could have been made at 10-10.5" back for whatever that's worth, but with the bracket that joint's still solid.

Nice look…Glad to hear the sounds improved as well.
I received that same notification…but if you click the link or jump on to there site…no additional information……Was going to go with the VIP from axle back, then I saw they posted a full exhaust for the All4 S…in the near future.
May I ask what the Boria went for?

I think it's available at several places now. Turner charged $696.99. Now if the Alta AccessPort or something like that would show up. With my old 2003 MCS the boost and rear sway bar were the most noticeable performance improvements.
Got it from MiniFini back in June. Was pretty time consuming since you have to punch out over a dozen fasteners around the rear wheel wells to get the back bumper off. Seem to remember it was at least three hours since I didn't want to damage the plastic clips. My local service advisor also gave me a bit of a hard time since he noticed that I ran the power line for the trailer wiring under the rubber lip of the doors instead properly going under the carpet. I promised to honor the aesthetics of the Mini and fix that run eventually.
Very nice hitch though. Think they rated it class III although somebody looked up the Euro spec on the vehicle which was only 1650# with trailer brakes. The way it slips onto the existing bumper studs (under the bumper) and the overall construction makes it one of the stronger hitches I've seen for a regular car. I'm only using it with a 750# cargo / camp trailer at present. I have the auto tranny and haven't done any long trips yet. Not sure if a cooler is in order if towing more than 1000#. I'll have to see if transmission temperature is available on the electronics bus to see if I can do a with versus without trailer test for an hour or so with some hills to find out. I've read the threads about folks towing boats and teardrop trailers with their regular MCS, so the CM should be even more capable... but I've not seen any tales of 5000 mile trips with a CM towing a large teardrop or micro-Airstream yet. Have you? With a 5x8 cargo trailer almost a foot taller than the CM, the highway gas mileage only dropped 1-2mpg keeping it under 60mph, so a light trailer isn't much strain on the engine (since it's already pulling the 3000# vehicle).
I've got more miles on the Borla now. There are some spots like around 70mph in 6th where there is a bit of a deep droning that might get bothersome on long trips. To be expected with any louder pipes.
