Nice shot of the rear, tips look robust, full 100mm, double wall?

Put it up on the lift and take some pictures, how did they form it up, specifications man, specifications.

Don't leave us hanging, let's see the next dyno run, how does it sound to you?

Don

Updates:
I still have to "hear" the car, BUT, i'll take delivery of it tomorrow evening

There's a small problem, because i need the car this weekend (i've a small rally with some friends) probably the car will not have the 200 cell cat (because Supersprint is still testing it)... Without the cat, i'm quiet sure it will not have any HP gain....
In this case Supersprint will put a no-silencer central pipe + homologated final exhaust... During the week end (after driving some km) i'll make some audio/video clips and i'll give u a full feedback

Anyway, if SS will try the car on the dyno with the 200sport cat, i'll tell you all the information needed

ps. I received yesterday my scangauge2, if someone wants me to track some outputs just tell me

Quote from supersprint facebook page
The tailpipes will be two round 100mm exits, slash cutted both in vertical and transversal direction, like in the Golf GTI.
There's a full photo report on the official Supersprint page on facebook

So.. on the dyno the stock car went for 180hp, with the full exhaust system 190hp, most of them after 3500rpm. The gain on higher rmp is very noticeable, the car continue to push till 6000 Now i really like how it feels On the opposite side, some hp are being lost at lower rpm, but it's something that i didn't notice...

I usually drive a lot, almost 100km everyday: 60% highway 40% normal roads... On highway speeds the noise from the exhaust is ok and it doesn't bother... It's starts to "sound" when u pass the 4000rpm, and there starts the fun

On the Supersprint page, u need to look at the section BMW Mini But i think they still have to put it on the website

I see VIP came out with a 2nd exhaust for the Countryman…street worthy but still $599 . Still a lot less than the tips i would imagine. Thanks

@NIM, you still visiting? How is the SS exhaust working out for you?

Did you get some of the power/torque back at low RPM?

Take care, Don

Hi guys, it's been a while since the last time I wrote here. I'd like to post an update since I followed the development of Nimrandir's exhaust in SS.

The prices are still to be announced, the system will be available for sale in October. The final downpipe design may change: there were a few CEL problems (that's the reason why on the prototype there are two O2 sensor sockets) and with the present design the stock flex pipe is being used, also there may be a bigger performance gain if we move the cat under the car and make a straight downpipe like the R56 Cooper S system, BUT it may make the CEL problem worse (EURO5 su**s)
At the beginning probably only the catback system will be available.

Anyway, here is a full gallery!

Dyno run of the stock system on the MAHA 4WD rolling road.

Full system fitted and car gallery. I have to say Nim's CM is one of the best looking I've seen in real life, the right balance between sportiness and elegance. The 100mm tips fill perfectly the arches, the stock exhaust looks pathetic...

Not my first time around a dyno sheet by far, but I don't speak much German.

Any idea what the gains were?

You can get the pdf file with all the charts on the website, anyway:
Max power gain is @6300 rpm, +15.8 hp.
Max power goes from 180,7 @ 5270rpm to 190,9 @ 6270 rpm

The real difference start @5300 rpm, it changes quite a bit the power delivery.

Torque is almost the same till 3500, then it goes up around 8 nm @4000, but honestly without a remap the difference is above 5000, where the cars revs much more freely.

I'd like to have a mapped car with the new 184 engine on our dyno.

R60 Mini Cooper Countryman S ALL/4 Exhaust 2011 + Models

(DP series) This is our Mandrel bent performance exhaust for the Countryman S ALL4 Made from 2.5 inch 304 stainless steel exhaust tube. We exit the vehicle with two 4 inch round tips in polished 304 ss. The exhaust note is a deep tone (NO DRONE SYSTEM). This is one of the finest exhaust systems that you can purchase. 100% stainless steel. Simple installation. Our system is around 12 foot long and is shipped to you in three sections. The stock S exhaust is very restrictive. This will make your Countryman come alive. Our system is from the turbo's down pipe back, removing the second cat. The system does not remove or effect the oxygen sensors in anyway, just offers you the most performance out of your Countryman S ALL4.

NO CUTTING REQUIRED

VPN 407 DP/ALL4 Countryman S exhaust system: $1399.00

FREE SHIPPING

So it's a catback (downpipe back, as the cat in in the downpipe, means catback). No performance increase whatsoever without changing the cat!
