greasy carburetion N18 Cooper s

hi guys, i have a problem with my mini roadster cooper s n18 with a stage 3 rpm, with the catalyst removed. A few weeks ago the car started to have a very greasy carburetion, before it was perfect, the car emits black smoke and soot, as well as stinks from the exhaust. I don't know if it is related to this but every now and then at full acceleration I have super knocking on one or two cylinders random. I have no errors in the dme, I have done several scans but I only find super knocking codes.

Stage 3 means you have meth injection? (at least it should have meth) The black exhaust is normal for a car with no cat and a tune. Running rich with fuel means black smoke on boost. Super knock codes means you’re running on the ragged edge of timing. Anything from bad gas to bad plugs or coils could also be an issue. What are your engine mods?

hi, thanks for your reply, the mods are jcw turbocharger, airtec intercooler, 1422 spark plugs, quicksilver full exhaust, supertech pistons, zrp connecting rods, dv gfb, new ngk coils, and other things I don't remember. I have no methanol injection, I often use gasoline with a high octane number but the problem remains. The strange fact is that until two weeks ago, always with the same mods, the car did not make this black smoke and emit no soot. So without doing any further mods it seems strange to me that suddenly it started making black smoke and at the same time these sporadic superknocking.

Check your plugs, and check down in the spark plug holes. After I sprayed my engine off, water was down in the holes and caused a knock code for me. I dried the holes out the best I could with plugs, then swapped plugs, drying the rest with plugs out. Then did a just in case oil change. Everything has been good.

unfortunately using the translator I did not understand your last message, but I can tell you about the sparks that are new, they have very few kilometers.

You might want to ask on the general problem section. You might get more hit then the roadster specific section of the forum...
Good luck!
