We finally decided to register for the Dragon this year for the first time. Anyone from here going too? We couldn't get rooms at the official place, so we're currently an hour away. More driving time every day can't be all bad, though!

 

I want to, but it depends on my contracts.

 

My wife and I will be there...already registered and planned!

Have you tried Tuskeegee Hotel? 20 Minutes away.

I just reserved a room for $57 with double beds...they have efficiencies, too.

 

Unfortunately I'll be in Kitty Hawk for the week leading up to the Dragon so we won't get there this year.

We are planning to go to MINI's On TOP again this year..

Newbies!!! The Dragon is great but don't forget the Hellbender and don't eat before it!!!

 

If we lived closer, I would love to do the Dragon. I drove to TN back in 2003 or so and it was a long drive. It would be a blast, though.

 

We will be there. The wife will be in her Spice Orange Roadster.

 

I just reserved a room there myself! I love the fact a kitchen is included and the guy running it is super nice. I will be up there on May 1, with this beauty I just bought on 3/22:

 

+1 ! I do hope some roadsters will be there...that's a cool little car...

RT. 28, "Hellbender", in many, many ways I like it better than the Dragon. 55 mph speed limit-no one is ever on it(compared to the Dragon), and it has great pavement and one sweeping turn after another.

The Dragon is a great technical test, and after a few runs I am mentally exhausted. RT. 28, I can run all day and still come back for more

 

I will be there too in a Pepper-White Roadster "MINYMO".
