Enjoy the anticipation.

THE SOUTHAMPTONWEATHER.CO: won't open up for me, but Saliwx. will. Not as graphic as the other one though. Thanks.

Sounds great, we both must have left about the same time. It appears that Tirranna left at 1400 hrs or close. That is five hours ahead of us, or seven for you. So Tirranna left at 11:00 our time and has a full 6+ hours of steam going. Hey, it's a fast boat. We're very close to being out of the English Channel, it seems.

This is rediculous: I found the guy on MarineTraffic, at Kings Bridge traveling at 18.7 knots. The Tirranna is trying to make up for lost time, I think. Thanks Gary.

Gary,

Do you have that link that you mentioned? And, by the way, I noticed the CAT badge, what kind of cat? My wife and I have three boys, Oliver (Siamese) Silverusha (Egyptian Mau) and our news boy Liam ( Balinese)

Oh yes, the ship picked up some speed, 19.7 knots. How does that translate to mph?

We really do have commonalities... My wife and I are cat people ... My girls : Matilda ( black, white, orange.. A calico ... Resembles my roadster in looks and temperment, so I will name my roadster "Matilda"; Nayla; and just lost my buddy, Oscar..
I like the cat badge and would like to place it in my signature ... When I figure out how to do it!

Ok now, the big question: Where is your Matilda? Have you found out whether she is board? By the way, OLMini still has Raggi as waiting for transportation still. I haven't called ASKMINI for a few days, so I don't know what they are saying. The last time that I talked with a customer representative she told me that she was no further use to me in the transportation.

Hey, I found Tiger a while back on the MarineTraffic. site. Looks like you are running a bit faster, but about three hours behind us. We're down at the point of England, well almost, while you are a ways back right now. I imagine that as soon as we're past the island of Ireland we'll split, you go south for Panama and we go more Westerly towards Baltimore. We're looking a lot better than we were this time yesterday. Not all that long now.

Yes. the Tiger is out in the middle of the English Channel and flying at 18.5 knots! LOL. We are a ways behind and I would guess you will have a few 1000 miles on Raggi before I see mine. However, I am going on A club trip from Colorado to Seattle and then down the coast the first week in June, so I will probably catch up! Keep me posted!

mbmb2020: Well, you're still in sight, but my Raggi and The Tirranna are out of camera's land of the Atlantic. Except for Sailex. and their six hour reporting, I won't see from Tirranna until Nova Scotia. So now what do I do for the next five days or so? Gotta quit buying mods and little things for him, the BSH oil catch can for the N18 came yesterday. No instructions. I guess that BSH thinks that if you buy one of these you automatically know where to hook everything up. Maybe an oversight. As for Raggi, well he's on his way.

Good to see those Roadsters are westbound.

Here are the BSH N18 can instructions (such as they are):

I did this install on my previous MINI so let me know if you have any questions.

For Jonack, a link to the Cat People sig graphic:

Thanks a bunch. This install looks pretty straight forward to me, hopefully that's the case. Did you mount yours on the firewall or by the windshield washer tank?

Since I had the NM Eng. Intake on my R56 I was able to mount the OCC on the cowl tab for the alarm switch on the firewall. If you ordered the alarm and the switch is already in that location (my experience) you can source a longer bolt and still make that location work.

I am leaning towards mounting the BSH catch can next to the solvent reservoir if there is space. It just looks clean there. I didn't order the optional theft alarm. Thanks again for the help. My real concern was making sure that I get the connections correct.

Gary, Just when does sailwx.info/shiptrack update this? Tirranna ran out of the British waters about 24 hours ago. People seem to say that these ships updated for weather and conditions, every six hours. What happened? This is pretty much what I ran into three years ago, not being able to keep track of the ship once it ran into the Atlantic. Whatever, it's only five days until the next siting.

Strange. I guess their First Mate isn't conscientious about entering their position with the weather observations...

This has always been my experience. I have purchased 2 minis in the last 3 years and I was unable to track the ship all the way.

Basically I could only track in the English Channel, near Bermuda (I think), and then near the Panama Canal, and finally (off the coast of LA). I have never been able to track a ship all the way across even though I checked everyday.

This is also the same report that I have seen from other mini owners. I think that Gary's experience was a rare occurrence as no one else seems to be able to track their ships on a daily basis.
