On Order

Hello Everyone!

I ordered a Mini Cooper S Roadster, Pepper White on 8/25 got my production number on 8/27.

This will be my first mini and I'm so excited. Was looking at the hardtop coopers but fell in love with the roadster. I got to test drive one and oh what fun. I'm hoping that it doesn't take the whole 8 weeks.

Just thought I would drop in and say Hi.

Thanks for the welcome.
I was going to test drive the hardtop but after the roadster I didn't even need to. We even got to practice putting the top up for the rain.

I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago and was told it would be 90 days. I really hope it doesn't that that long.

I wonder why there's a difference in delivery time?

Beti,

They told me 6-8 weeks. But from what I have read on this site it could take longer or be sooner. My MA is going to check on my status Monday. The OL just shows On Order. But it has only been a week for me.

Hope yours doesn't take too long to get here.

You're going to LOVE it - welcome to the Roadster family - as a PW you're a sibling!

Nice color choice,

Good choice on the pepper white. The wait is awful but hang in there.

Talking

I just love the PW/BL combination.
I have been trying not to get too excited knowing that I have a month or so wait, but I don't think it is working very well

Congrats! When you get it, find the twistiest road near you and see how it handles in the corners... then when the smile wears off, post some pics.

Congrats and welcome! Have you begun tracking your Mini? That helped me pass the time while it was being built

Oh my goodness - Ask Mini says my vehicle she is complete and awaiting transfer to the carrier! Yahoo.

That was much faster than I expected. Maybe there's a chance of riding with the top down before the rains start yet!

Well, Debbie Downer, considering my MA told me mid-November, I'll be happy with any delivery date before that.

Having fun following this thread. I ordered mine in April, had it delivered in August. At that time, dealers were only getting 2 units per month in their allocation from MINI. Don't know if that's still the case. Wonder what will happen in the spring when dealers up north aren't willing to trade their allocations to southern dealers for CM All4 units?

Have you figured out what ship it will be on?

Mine took 60 days from order to arrive to the PNW. It was crazy, but fun stalking her the entire time. Travel time is the worst because you see all of the cars delivered to the east coast in a week and it takes 3 weeks just to get to LA. The second I drove her off the lot, the long wait was a distant memory.

Enjoy!
