Just take the MSRP, add in whatever taxes/title/fees are going to be in your area, and plug those numbers into one of the many "car payment calculators" you can find with a quick google search. Many will break down payments in a table depending on how many years you want to take to pay the loan, and a variety of interest rates you can program in.

Didn't buy a Roadster, but interest rates are published out there everywhere...
I used my credit union last November and got 100% finacing (that's a true $0 out-of-pocket at drive away) at 3.24% on a 72 month loan (6 year).
FYI: Could have got 2.9% on a 5 year and 1.9% on a 3 year at the time.
Mini didn't offer 72 month at the time (onloy 60 month or 5 year), but I think they do now for the same rate. Check the Mini site for any special offers. Good luck!

Paying cash isn't necessarily a good decision, even if you can. One of two things would make it a good decision.
1. You are quite wealthy.
2. You will pay more in interest if you finance the purchase than you would earn on the money if you were to have it in an investment account. Yes, investments are not what they used to be but interest rates on new car loans are very reasonable these days. Requires some thought.

Bought my Coupe about a month and a half ago (San Diego), and the dealership/BMW was offering 0.9% for five years, and a $1000 off if you purchased a Coupe off the lot (I got the impression they weren't moving many of the "high end" MINI's).
MA even said "Most of the cars we're selling these days are just a plain manual, stripped R56. People just want a cheap car, that's good on gas right now.
You might be able to work a deal, if you're willing to take what is on the lot...

You should get at least $20,000 for your BMW. You're looking at an S with minimal options so you'd only be financing $10,000 to $12,000.
You're up north there. In a couple months the weather will turn nasty. Scout around every dealer for any R59s sitting on their lot. Historically, dealers have trouble giving away convertibles in the winter. Don't be afraid of traveling a distance to purchase your new car, you can have it serviced anywhere.
Now that you've done all your research, the time has come to schedule a real test drive in an R59 with the engine/transmission you want. And by a "real test drive", I mean at least 30 to 45 minutes on all types of roads, various speeds, etc.
Face it, there are 2 questions -- do you really want a roadster and if so, do you want a MINI or a Miata? If the answer to the first question is "yes", driving both cars is the only way to answer the second.
