Brake Problem????

Before I call my service department I wanted to check to see if anyone else has had this problem:

On my way home to lunch today my warning "blurp" sounded - looked at my tach and my DSC light came on as well as a amber brake light indicator. I also noticed that my turn signal will not cancel after I make my turn.

Any ideas?

Don't know that one. I'd take it in.

Called my SA and they suggested I call Roadside Assistance to have my JCW Roadster flat bedded to D & R 159 miles away. Before I got home, the wipers came on for no apparent reason and she wasn't really running like she should. The SA had seen other cars that had experienced the amber DSC and brake lights coming on, but had no idea about the turn signals or wipers.

The Roadside Assistance operator was very pleasant and she had a tow truck at my place of business within 45 minutes.

I sure hope I get her back before next Friday as I was planning on joining the MTTS in Nashville.

I will definitely let everyone know the outcome.

BTW, Frida only has 1300 miles on her!

Got a phone call at 7:15am this morning - found out that there is a bad switch in the steering column - part has to be ordered from Germany so it will be at least a week before I get Frida back at least I have my Countryman to motor with MTTS this weekend, but I was really looking forward to taking my Roadster.

Good that it was quickly diagnosed. At least you know what you are dealing with...
