Reef Blue has been added to the Roadster (not for the Coupé) color options for $500 more than all the other metallic colors. Looks like it may be a very nice color. Appears that it would be indigo/dark purple under certain lighting conditions. Still hard to tell in a pic.

I had a reef Blue Mustang and that was an awesome color.

Probably close but it's hard to compare colors from different manufactures since they may use different paint suppliers and certainly different formulas.
The concept is the same though.

I saw one in person, definitely has a purplish cast to it in the sun. For the money, I'd want to see it in person and verify you love it. My 2 cents
By the way, that is a good looking Roadster you built

Peanut is reef blue, for me there was no other color.
My fiancé thought i was nuts for spending the extra grand, until he talked to my mom who explained its a genetic flaw my father paid an extra 15hundred for custom paint on his bike. Really it's a bargain considering I had a whole car vs just a motorcycle.
We are having custom bonnet stripes designed to match the black jack side scuttles and also waiting on black jack interior leather trim from redline.

I bought my 2012 MCS Reef Blue Metallic Roadster last Thursday. It is beyond beautiful. As soon as I can figure out how to download pictures, I'll share.
I also saw it in the Convertible with the Denim roof and a tan interior. Not bad at all!

Welcome to NAM...we're looking forward to seeing pictures!
I bought my MINI off the dealer's lot and don't know how those of you who order your cars can stand the wait.

I will be looking forward to your pictures too.
I haven't seen Reef Blue yet, but it looks like a color that I would love.
Pictures please!
Hope you get as much enjoyment as I do from seeing the
Blue sparkle in the sun.
We have the 50th Hampton Edition Clubby in reef blue metallic and the color looks mostly black or dark blue at eye level but when it's directly in the sun it sparkles with a deep blue with a red hue metallic tint to it. The downside is the color really shows the micro scratches on the paints surface.
I got reef blue and I don't see any purple in it. It is a true deep dark metallic blue. In the shade it almost looks black. LOVE IT!
