Back to the future!
So I'm driving around last week in my 2012 coupe (white silver/silver with 66K miles) and I pass a local car dealer that sells all makes and models of autos. I see a coupe in the corner of the lot, and stop to take a look. Lo and behold, it's a 2012 JCW coupe with every option but the PDC!!
In addition, it has the GP rear diffuser, complete underbody diffuser panels, additional driving lights, and carbon fiber JCW shift ****. And the best part - 8617 miles!! That's it. It's still under the MINI bumper to bumper warranty until next July.
So after some discussion, I let them know that they are probaby not going to find someone who will want the car (or really know what it is) and they should get it off the lot ASAP! Drove it away for 21K. Not bad for a 45K mint car.
So I am now the very happy owner of this quite awesome MINI! I was a little concerned about going from the n18 cooper S to the n14. But jeez louise, this thing is crazy cool!
Looking forward to continuing the coupe adventure!

For the guys who paid big bucks for a JCW Coupe a couple of years ago and to see its worth about half right now, it is quite disappointing.
You have to figure the dealer may have paid about 18K to make a profit which means a so nice and low mileage car as yours has already lost more than 50% of its original value.
For sure, it is a secondary market buyer joy to buy a performance Mini.

Nice JCW Coupe, looks a lot like mine. You said this is a 2012 with N-14 engine and yours was/is a 2012 with an N-18? I thought the N-18 didn't show up until the 2013 models. Sounds like a good deal you got there. Sell the WS/S car yet? To be honest I don't anticipate anything special resale value by the time I sell mine. It's a pretty rare car but still, it's niche car, a 2 seater meant for the sports car crowd. Drove all over the Pacific NW recently, only saw 1 Coupe. There just aren't that many buyers IMO. But that's a great find you got there.

Congratulations! What a great find.

Congrats on the R58 JCW,
Nice find, looks like someone painted the GP2 rear diffuser.
in 2012 it was the JCW N14 and then in 2013 it was the JCW N18.
I love my R58 JCW and people comment on it all the time.

My 2012 White silver/silver was a Cooper S with the N18 engine. The JCW coupes didn't get that engine until the 2013 model year. So it's one step (kinda) back on the engine - but wayyyyy ahead on everything else!
I did trade my coupe, which was very tough because of the unique color combo. Someone is going to get a very special coupe! I just couldn't keep it in storage somewhere, as I am not that well off
When I saw this on one of those "we sell everything" lots, I knew that no one would be in a hurry to buy it - unless they knew what it was. So after giving it a good going over, I figured the fact it was still under MINI warranty, I could add the maintenance plan - and it was just freaking awesome, made me go for it!
Once I realized that it was fully loaded and then some, I would be kicking myself for a long time if I didn't grab it. All the GP stuff is pretty sweet. When my MINI dealer put it up on the lift, it was clean as a whistle. Even has the GP diffuser panels that run the length of the car.
I will say, I had the JCW tuning kit installed in the Cooper S, and the JCW (even though it has the older N14) has a heck of a lot more oomph. Lots and lots of grins so far.....
And yes - it is a 6 speed stick! I wouldn't have it any other way!!!

Awesome, I found mine loaded also , well I wanted the JCW US Recaros and a leather/ alcantara dash and side auto dim , but I could not find one with all of those with my price range. Also wish the owner would had put more GP2 upgrades on it like the steering wheel in such, but that would be rare,
