Fitting and retraction of R58 Wing

I’m looking for assistance/information.
I removed the wing to paint it, completed the project and installed it back on the car
it’s set perfectly
BUT
when it goes up and then back down it will not fully retract to the lowest position
it stays approximately 1cm from the fully closed position. I can push it down and perhaps, in time it will “set itself”

Here’s my question, does the wing have a relearn sequence similar to the reset of the power windows.
I’ve looked everywhere (other forums too) there is very little information regarding the wing. So I’m reaching out for any wisdom that the membership can offer.

Will it “relearn” over time?
I’ve also installed new rubber bumpers on back rear left and right but those do not impact the resting, closed position.

Grateful for any insights.

A bit of pressure and it sets to where it’s supposed to be

Hello,

I dont see any? Install pdf have coding to turn it off.

Cycle it all the way up manually and all the way down, with the car on and sitting.

Also make sure nothing was left in the cavity to block it from closing.

After that unplug and plug it back in. Maybe that will reset the points?

Greatly appreciate the time you took to assemble and share these details
Technically, it appears to be working correctly. There are no lights on the cluster that indicate otherwise.
BUT
I will drive it for a few days and see if it corrects/defaults to the fully retracted position, failing that I'll take your suggestion to unplug and then reconnect it
Maybe it's like all tech that needs a reboot, Power off // Power on appears to correct most electrical tech issues.

I'll circle back around in a week or two with an update.

(I did review the link to the Post shared and had also read the same one before I posed my question. I'm a bit surprised at the lack of threads pertaining to the wing but given the few production numbers, I guess that I shouldn't be. It was the same when I removed the speed spoiler from my Crossfire and swapped it for the fixed wing.)

Thanks again.

After a day of city and highway, it corrected itself and now sets into lowest position correctly
