I recently purchased a 2014 Coupe S JCW R58 and it has a few things that I question.

1. it has a rear fog light on the bumper drivers side. The light is there and everything but there’s no toggle inside the car.

2. I also don’t have the backup sensors. Are those an optional add on? Everything I read says they are standard.

3. lastly, is there a way to
update the screen for the radio/settings etc.

sorry for all the questions, I did read over the other postings and didn’t see these yet.

 

The fog light could have been added by a previous owner, Mine had none and no switch.

Not sure about the backup sensor as mine had the plain radio, no backup camera or sensors.

I am guessing you are looking for an update for the radio to use car player or Android Auto. To my knowledge no there isn't an update.

 

Pretty sure the rear fog lights came standard on the car, but without the option checked in the build sheet, there will be no switch and they won't work without coding.

Also, pretty sure the backup sensors were a configurable option on the build sheet. Without that option selected, no sensors
