Likely plenty of interest here without BaT auction, however that's a proven venue for such a unique vehicle...
Reading this thead again today, you implied in post #4 Aug 2020 that the R58 is your daily for winter driving. If so, how many total miles now and what if any corrosion resulting? I love the concept and execution of this car but not shopping in any case. Figured prospective buyers would want to know...

great questions. It has about 68k miles on it. There are no signs of body corrosion and I had the tie rods replaced last year because they had seized up.
Because it has a carbon fiber belly pan and the rest of the bottom of the car is largely covered by shielding as well, it he undercarriage is shielded to some degree from corrosive elements. Of course, it is a nine year old car that has been driven so it’s not like new.
There are signs of corrosion on the front bumper struts but nothing my local MINI dealer or I felt was in need of repair for safety reasons.
The big brakes were put on very recently, just before COVID so they’ve seen hardly any use, and the coil overs were put on the year before.
It has been partially garaged during my ownership, and it does have the R58 OEM car cover with stripes for covering up in inclement weather.
