Ok, so I have totally stripped out the interior and sound deadened with dynomat then a layer of closed cell foam over the top... doors, floor, roof and boot.

its now running an alpine E800-DSP amp and audison ap1, ap4 and ap6.5 speakers in the front and some hertz 6*9 in the rear (although it is faded all the way forward)

all new speaker wire to every speaker, so the system is run properly active (each speaker connected to the amp separately).

it sounds AMAZING and kicks really hard, still need to do a little bit of tuning on the system but the speakers need to bed in properly first.

only problem I now have is the DAB signal, FM radio is fine, but the DAB sound like I may have disconnected the aerial... so anybody know where it is and how it gets there from the back of the head unit?
