What’s up friends! I just got a BSH oil catch can for my recently acquired R58 Cooper S but I ran into a problem.
The problem is I can’t fit my occ where it should be. These 2 pieces (can someone also tell me what they are? My R58 didn’t come with a manual) are taking up space for the occ. Anybody got some tricks on how I can put my occ in there or maybe move those 2 pieces? I tried everywhere to find something but nothing.
So help would be much appreciated!

The upper is the hood switch and the lower is a power distribution relay. If you disconnect the wire to the switch and look closely there are tabs that release it. Once removed you will see the fastener that holds the bracket in place. Thats the mount point.

Thank you! I tried to mount the OCC under the hood switch but there was still no room for the can 😕
I actually met the owner of BSH (how I got my catch can) and told him about the OCC not being able to fit. He came down to try to fit it himself and he agreed that it can’t fit! So next day, his team actually created a prototype that was skinnier and longer which actually fitted!
I haven’t installed it yet because he’s still finishing the rest of the prototype! I will post pics of the new OCC once I get it 👌
