Had a "dog chewed" (no BS) seatbelt. Attempted to replace with an eBay bought unit, Apparently the purchased unit was from a vehicle that was in a "non airbag deployed" crash. Guess what - still junk. Would not retract or extend. Money back from that mess. Installed brand new (from MINI) seatbelt - airbag / SRS warning still on dash, Bought iCarSoft MINI / BMW Scanner off Amazon. Was able to clear light on dash. No other unit that I'm aware of would clear it. $80 well spent, plus lots of other features I'll probably never use. Just wanted to clear the SRS / Airbag light, Dealer wanted $250 + to do same procedure. Do the math..............I'm sold.....thanks iCarSoft!
